Jimmy Chiarella

… has a love for all forms of art, but has focused on photography, painting with light, as the natural element with which to work. “It is light that brings out the quality of all the subjects we see. Like music, this interplay with the subject can be manipulated and massaged to create a mood, while maintaining a creative composition”. This is the foundation for all of Jimmy’s work.

Jimmy started his imaging career working as a photo engraver in 1971, with an Associate Degree in Advertising from Los Angeles Valley College. Over the years, Jimmy has provided services for fortune 500 companies, and many of the motion pictures studios in Los Angeles, CA.

When on location, Jimmy always tries to take time to shoot wildlife and nature images for himself.

Jimmy relocated from Los Angeles to Knoxville, TN in 2007, where he opened JC Studios.
